Have a need to upgrade or tired of the old dash treatments ? The folks at Wood Dash Experts.com have quite a selection of dash kits that can add a some new sparkle to that 'old' 300C dash. Some of the more extensive kits have 80-86 pieces to them. They have 10 different size kits and the selection of wood options is very good.

Who Is Going To Build The 300C ?

What ? No one wants the privilege of building the 300C ? To quote Auto Blog VW is not interested in buying Chrysler Group "It's hard to believe the company that builds the Viper and the 300C could be wanted like a sweater at Walmart in June."..more I can't believe there are not anxious buyers out there.

More on future of 300C

What would happen to the 300C if this is followed through. Now that General Motors Corp. has been in talks for two months with DaimlerChrysler AG about acquiring all of the troubled Chrysler Group and folding its operations into GM, according to people familiar with the discussions. Together, GM and Chrysler accounted for 11.8 million vehicles sold in 2006. How many 300C's ? Their combined U.S. market share would exceed 35 percent. And their status as American icons would make a combination of the two a historic event in the history of the U.S. auto industry.

Future of 300C

I hope this won't effect the future of the 300C but DaimlerChrysler (DCX) hinted today that it's looking to sell its troubled Chrysler Group or link up with another automaker.
Because of losses in the Chrysler Group, it will idle 13,000 workers and close its Newark, Del., assembly plant. The reports go on to say For now, Chrysler will downsize. The job reductions consist of 9,000 union jobs in the USA, 2,000 in Canada and another 2,000 white-collar jobs.

This 300C Real or Not ?

A blast from the past. Do you remember Ella Fitzgerald in the "is it live or is it Memorex" commericals ? When I saw this photo it reminded me of that.

300C+Mayor=Fixed Tickets

It may help to be a mayor if you drive a 300C.
Kansas City mayoral candidate Stanford Glazer drives a Chrysler 300C SRT8.
And he likes it! He is quoted in the Kansas City Star
“This guy took me on a test drive, and we were zero to 100 miles per hour before I could fasten my seatbelt,” Glazer says. “Nothing will beat it, I’m telling you. Even in the ’50s when I drove a sports car, omigod, this car…”

Top speed? “It’s got 180 mph on the speedometer,” Glazer says. “That’s why I’ve got to be mayor — so I can fix my own tickets."

300C Favorite German Import

"Auto Motor Und Sport, polled 100,000 of their own readers and asked them to list their favorite vehicles in ten different segments. Each segment was broken into two categories: Domestic (German brands) and Import.
If buyers were forced to abandon their Audi A6 in the "Upper Middle Class" category, they'd get behind the wheel of a Chrysler 300C"
That's cool !
