James Brown Chrysler 300

A fanatically maintained black 2005 Chrysler 300 that was owned by James Brown Enterprises is on sale on ebay. The odometer showing only 6,230 original miles. The only thing special about the car is that it is two years old with super low milage. Unless you count the ownership history of James Brown ! Ranking right up there with Elvis and the Beatles. They say "One can imagine James Brown cruising through the back roads of beautiful Beech Island, SC, away from the crazy life that any celebrity must have, enjoying this great car, with the Air Conditioning going, and the music blasting! Or, maybe James Brown was an all windows down man. Either way, you could not own anything of Mr. Brown's that would give you a greater sense and appreciation of his personal life, than the car he last chose and drove and enjoyed, when he was enjoying life just like any other guy out for a ride in his car on a nice summer day. This car belongs with someone who not only appreciates Mr. Brown's lfe's work, but appreciates the man that he was." How cool is that?

Red Hot looking 300c heritage edition

Yieks , this is one Red Hot looking 300c heritage edition, over at 300cforums just floating above the pavement on 24 inch rims

I can't imagine driving this on our country roads considering how poor the maintenance is on them. It is one hot looking machine. The rims are really unique with the dagger looking rims.

The Sinister jet black Chrysler 300C

David Cronenberg's film, A History of Violence was a story of an ordinary man living peaceful in a rural area of America who developed a fiercer version of himself after the robbery of his cafĂ©. The movie’s got a lot of twist but without the mighty presence of the Chrysler 300C, it would not fit your criteria to be a great movie. Specially made for the movie to play the sinister vehicle, the jet black Chrysler 300C has chrome trim, darkened slit windows, gaping, barking-shark grille and low-rider stance. The evil Chrysler 300C was featured in the scene where the goons lead by Ed Harris went to the house of Viggo Mortensen to threaten his family.

1957 Chrysler 300C for Christmas

There is still time for Santa to add a 1957 CHRYSLER 300C on to my list. After all According Old Cars Price Guide they are only worth between $26,000-$81,900 depending on it's shape of course. The convertible is worth more But both have the unique styling and a 375-390-horsepower "Hemi" V-8, excellent handling and a luxurious interior. It was America's most powerful car at the time. Yes that would be a sweet ride. Might be hard to find as only 1,918 300C's were made in 1957.

CAFE Standards to Improve 300C Aerodynamics

It looks like congress is going to raise the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards to 35 mpg. In response auto makers are trying to come up with ways to attain it. At Edmunds.com it's reported that.
At Chrysler, insiders say the company is studying how best to redesign the big Chrysler 300 sedan, with one proposal said to involve a move away from the current upright, boxy silhouette to a sleeker, more aerodynamic profile in order to enhance fuel economy.
I think that changing the shape of the 300C for "aerodynamic" reasons of fuel economy is at the most, shall I say dubious. I mean unless one is traveling at high speeds, are the aerodymamics involved that subtle ? A better way to improve fuel economy would be for people to not floor the gas petal.

19 year old wins Chrysler 300C

A Darwin, Australian 19-year-old Bonnie Wyatt has had her dreams come true after winning a Chrysler 300C in Darwin today after winning the car in a nationwide competition.
As stories like this seem to go she had purchased some CDs and DVDs from the WOW Sight and Sound Darwin store but at first passed up the opportunity to fill out an entry form for the WOW Sight and Sound/WPS Win a Chrysler competition. The store security guard noticed this and encouraged Wyatt to enter because of the significant prize involved, prompting the teenager to fill out an entry that changed her life and made her the envy of her friends. Maybe he'll get a ride in the 300C. more

Refined Chrysler 300C

This Chrysler 300C is a beautiful rendition of a soon to be classic ! The subtle way Santini USA Paint & Body detailed this automobile is fantastic. One gets a feeling of nobility and refinement from this automobile. I am not normally a fan of two-tone paint jobs but this is a major exception. The wide old style whitewalls are a great idea. On motorcycles they are considered 'gangster tires' here they add to the refining qualities. One just knows that a powerful hemi is lurking under the hood just waiting to explode.

Winning 300C Wheels

Isn't this a juicy looking 300C. I see a low and hard rifle grey fitted with a sense of no nonsense HRE Performance Wheels this auto looks like it is ready to be shot down the road.
I understand HRE Performance Wheels were on two Best Design Award-Winning cars at SEMA this year. One awarded the Chrysler Design Award for Best Chrysler . The winning automobile was a Santini USA Paint & Body creation. A 2008 Chrysler 300C in all satin black with satin-brushed aluminum chrome trim. The car featured 22" 945R HRE Performance Wheels with a flat black finish on the spokes and a brushed aluminum on the outside lip.

300C Love It or Hate It

We have heard this before about the Chrysler 300C.
From timesonline Love it or hate it, you cannot ignore it. Launched in Britain in October 2005, the Chrysler 300C looks as though it has driven straight out of The Sopranos with a body in the boot as standard.
It follows in a long line of American saloon cars that had tried, and failed, to crack the European market, and for many critics this latest attempt was likely to stand no better chance than its predecessors. Furthermore, they predicted, its residual values would be so poor that new car sales would all but dry up.
Two years on, however, and not only are new 300Cs still commanding list price but used examples are holding their value better than Mercedes, BMWs and Audis. The Chrysler 300C looks as though it’s the American saloon that finally won in the UK market.
