300C and Chipmunks

The 300C is cruising down the highway, the day is beautiful, sun shining a few billowy clouds , your main squeeze cuddled next to you, on a little road trip to the mountan cabin, life doesn't get any better.
Suddenly two chipmunks are in the middle of the road you hit the brakes, not wanting to take a innocent life. Question ? Do you have the right brakes for your machine? Maybe you need something like these at Horsepower Freaks

300C in Switzerland

In this review of the Chrysler 300C by Car and Driver the reviewer decided to drive it in Switzerland's Alpine switchbacks. Finding roads, that sound to me would hardly be wide enough to qualify as alleys in America. The problems were not with the car but where they drove it, surely they must have some two lane roads in Switzerland. Any full size auto would have the same issues in alleys made for oxcarts, so I don''t get the point. It would be like complaining it has never done well in the Baha 1000

American cars are back!

According to Motortrend American cars are back! Real American cars, that is. American cars with bold styling, lots of horsepower, and...rear drive. The success of DCX's rear-drive LX platform cars-Chrysler 300C and Dodge Charger/Magnum-has convinced more than a few insiders that rear drive could be Motown's secret weapon in the fight to win back car buyers.
I didn't think the 300C was ever gone.

Awesome 300C SRT8

Leading up to the Melbourne Motor Show, there was apparently a rogue group of Chrysler Australia employees working on a top secret "customer evaluation vehicle project." What they came up with was rolled out at the show as the Chrysler E490.see more here Autoblog said that "Chrysler Australia estimates the cost of the E490 would be $84,990 AUD if it were offered as an optional package". Now according to Edmunds Insideline it would retail out for "an E490 package should retail for the equivalent of U.S. $8,500". Typo ? or a really good time for Americans to visit Australia.

300C More On Driving In Snow

A little advice from Angela Forgeron from The Vancouver Sun for those of you who want a 300C 'up north' she reminds us that the 300C has "An Electronic Stability Program and all-speed traction control are also standard.
If your home is in a snowbelt postal code, you'll want to investigate the all-wheel-drive model over the more popular rear-drive setup. The full-time AWD system delivers more torque to the rear wheels (62 per cent) to improve traction in slick and slippery conditions while preserving the feel of rear-wheel drive. On the days where we had small dumps of snow, the AWD rolled with great confidence and grip. And, though it's a large car, handling is surprisingly agile and responsive and body control is good. Though it's at home on fast straightaways, the 300 is also happy in twists and turns."

300C and Snow

In the old days almost all cars were rear drive. In heavy snow it is a different driving experience. Talk about 'drifting' We used to practice our driving skills by going out on frozen lakes and doing power slides and 360's. You found out quickly a new respect for all that power. I have never done it in a Chrysler 300C but it would be awesome !
Don't you think this snow covered 300C would rather be out showing it's stuff.
