California ,`It's a trend-setter market,'' Toprak said. ``Kind of like Paris is for fashion. The rest of the country takes cues out of here.''That's also where the Chrysler 300C became a hot model, said Jesse Toprak, executive director of industry analysis at Edmunds.com, based in Santa Monica. ``You don't see a whole lot of other domestic cars if you drive around Southern California, but you see a lot of 300s,'' Toprak said.
